Two things do not match a factory car: the Williams was launched at the Geneva show in March 1993 and sold from April 1993, while this car dates from 1992; and the factory Williams produced 147 hp, where this one is rated 135 hp, the figure of the Clio 16S on which these conversions are normally based. The factory Williams 1 also carried a numbered plaque. We would rather say this plainly than have you discover it: priced and described as a replica, it is an honest car and a good one to drive.
